Host Families Needed for International Students Attending Boise's Premier Private High School
Greg Norton, founder and executive director of Sheridan Academy in Boise, notified us that the school is still seeking host families for international students.
Founded in 1995, Sheridan Academy is an accredited private school that provides an intimate environment with one-on-one education for students unsuccessful in traditional school settings. Sheridan Academy provides each student with an individualized curriculum tailored to the student’s abilities and needs.
Students at Sheridan Academy receive the highest quality instruction in academics as well as instruction in study skills, social skills and job skills. The school has 10-15 students coming from Thailand this year and host families are still needed.
Host families are screened (including a background check) and receive $400 per month per student (some families take more than one student).
International students come with their own spending money, health insurance, excellent English-speaking skills, and a lot of enthusiasm.
